In the last year, 184 people have toured Yachats Ridge . VtF board members provide transportation and guide the tour, with permission from the landowner. Tours are free but space is limited and people must register in advance.

In June View the Future hosted staff from Congressional and State offices on the tour of Yachats Ridge. The group included Sophia Francia (U.S. Senator Merkley); Ree Armitage (U.S. Senator Wyden); Cheri Brubaker (U.S. Representative Hoyle); Courtney Flathers (Governor Kotek); as well as Rebecca Brooke, Supervisor, and Andrew Maher, Public Services Staff Officer, both from the Siuslaw National Forest. All were positively impressed with the property and potential for rehabilitation and recreation.
Also visiting in June were staff from Sea and Shores Solutions, LLC. This is a women-owned environmental consulting firm focused on creating and implementing innovative solutions to support coastal management and marine policy.
