On July 4th, before the La De Dah parade, Cherie Brubaker, staff to U.S. Representative Val Hoyle, introduced Joanne Kittel, co-chair of View the Future, to the Congresswoman. Cherie recently toured Yachats Ridge and was enthusiastic about the acquisition of the property. Val and Joanne talked about Yachats Ridge and its value to the community and state for its preservation and recreational value. Val expressed support for the project and hopes to support VtF’s efforts in the future.
