Prospect Trail connects East Second to East Third Street, King Street, and Radar Road. At bottom there is a small park full of native plants by a seasonal creek. Birds, butterflies and bees love this place! The park was created in 2010 and an army of volunteers had to remove invasive weeds before creating an enticing trail that zigzags across the hillside. Take a break and sit on the memorial bench and enjoy the great views or walk up the graded path by the creek.
You can reach this trail from Prospect St or Second St (south of Green Salmon). Plantings include California Lilac (Ceanothus), Nootka Rose, Red flowering currant and many more. Printed info is available at trail bottom.
