Start your year with reflection and connection as we honor the rich Indigenous history and culture of our coastal region.

📅 Date: January 1st, 2025

Time: 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM

The Peace Hike is a tribute to the Indigenous peoples who have called this land home since time immemorial. It honors lives lost during the incarceration of the Coos, Lower Umpqua, Siuslaw, and Alsea peoples and celebrates the resilience and legacy of their descendants.

🌟 Special Feature: Don’t miss the Amanda Story, shared by Patricia Whereat Phillips, a Miluk Coos tribal member and linguist with the Confederated Tribes of the Coos, Lower Umpqua, and Siuslaw Indians.
