Access to Yachats Ridge via Cape Ranch Rd was interrupted recently. VtF has a gate key and permission from Manulife Forest Management, current Ridge property owner, to take tours up to the Ridge. City Considering Purchase of Rocha Property and Landmark Property
At the July 17 meeting of the City Council Executive Committee, it was agreed unanimously to pursue negotiations with the property and timber owners of 20 acres south of the city owned by Clemente Rocha. Estuary Boardwalk update
View the Future has raised $70,000 toward construction of the Estuary Boardwalk Project. Funds have come from generous individual donors and the dollar opt-out program set up by the Fireside 804 Fund administered by VtF. The opt-out program adds $1 per night to a guest's bill.
