July 12th, 2023, Joanne Kittel, VtF Co-chair and honorary member of the Confederated Tribes of Coos, Lower Umpqua and Siuslaw Indians was invited to join their Culture Camp during a visit to the Amanda Trail and Gathering Area. For many of the children, it was their first visit. Even though Joanne could not join them on the hike she was able to join them at the Amanda Gathering Area.
